Life in the Kingdom has slowed for Alice and her friends. Expecting the prince and hers first child, things could not be better. But the discovery of a long forgotten relic of man will again change things for all the creatures of the Kingdom and Oakland.
Alice puts in place a plan to return to the darkness below the floorboards of the old bookshop to save them, but will the return of a vanquished enemy prevent Alice saving everyone she loves.
