The albino spiders are content living beneath the floor of the long abandoned bookshop, apart from Alice, a young spiderling who wants more from life, to see the world, experience new things and most of all she wants to read. Her determination will change their world forever.

An age-old secret uncovered brings them out into the light and to the attention of a long forgotten foe, who will stop at nothing to bury the past and end the albinos once and for all.
