Let me introduce myself, my name is Chris Horn, and in 2021 I self-published my first book "The Word Spider" I soon realised that selling those books was another thing all together, as I started to look at ways to improve those sales, I found a great little community of local authors who were also keen on helping each other with sales and publicity.
Fast-forward to the end of 2022, and I wanted to help support the Broadstairs Town shed, a wonderful team who not only provide skills training and support to local retired folk, but are also responsible for the building of our brilliant little libraries, from this first event the Pop-Up Bookshop was born.
Since that original event, the number of Authors who are part of the Pop-Up has grown from the original six, to over 30, with genres of every kind.
We have held a few Pop-Ups and are pleased to announce the next one will take place on the 8th April (see blog post for details)
