What inspires you?
My life and my imagination.
Anything you are currently working on?
Several books at present.
Just about to launch my first dark fantasy novel, Between Here and Hell.
Writing my latest fantasy novel set in Margate A Sackful of Dragons.
Also, launching the next picture book, Shea Pingle and the Swarm.
Five more Picture books currently in illustration.
What do you enjoy?
I love reading anything fantasy, Sci-Fi or paranormal. I love writing to the same degree.
I love chocolate. In fact eating anything starting with the letter C, except cucumber. & courgettes. I love my family, my Harley Davidson, my cats, dancing, travelling, karate.
Carol definitely keeps busy, in her spare time.
Tell us a bit about your books and you.
My books come from within me, but are littered with fragments of my life. Experiences I have had, places I have been to, food I have eaten (recurring theme). And most especially, emotions I have felt. Fear, terror, love and lust. It's all there inside my various novels.
Not so much the picture books though because they're aimed at 7 to 11 yr olds.
Carol is also the organiser of the Inspirations Writers Group, a local collective of authors, who submit their short stories into anthologies, their latest of which was launched a short while back.
